Yea, yeah you read the headline right. In this article I am going to break down how you can learn a little something about SEO from the King of Rock-and-Roll himself. I will however have to ask you to agree to think outside the box as you are reading this. I am going to explain, what I like to call, "The Mindset of the Masters," along with a few other great strategies that you can apply to your business instantly.
I refused to give you the same old Internet Marketing mumbo-jumbo that you can find anywhere. I do not know about you, but personally I am sick and tired of the same old vomiting, verbal robots spewing the same old SEO crap over and over again. Instead of giving you the same old speech about on-page optimization, and the importance of keyword phrases etc... I would launch your brain to the other side of the spectrum. With that said and done - lets roll.
I was surfing some channels on TV when I discovered they had a special on about Elvis Presley. As I watched them talk about his life, I could not help but think how amazing he was. This guy did what most said could not be done at that time. His music broke all music barriers, it broke down racial barriers, you name it this guy did it. It does not matter if you love or hate this guy, the fact is there is nowhere on earth you can go and people do not know his name.
Think about this for a second... During Elvis's era there was not such thing as the Internet, or emails and text messages. Even without the power of the technology that we all have at our finger tips this guy was still able to create "viral marketing" and totally dominate the world with his product i.e. his music. Was he able to accomplish such a monumental task because he was the greatest singer of his time? Nope... There where dozens that were a lot better. Maybe it was because Elvis had a unique look that appealed to people, and that made him extremely marketable? Nope, that was not it either. Elvis wanted to look, and be his role model James Dean.
So what did make Elvis the phenomenon that he was, and still remains until this day? What was the one key ingredient, that separated Elvis from the others who may have been more talented, or who may have had more resources at their disposal? To put it simply it was Elvis's passion for music. He loved all genres of music, he loved the sound of it, he loved the way it made him feel. He said in one interview that when he heard music it was like he could not control himself. Even at family functions his mother would have him perform whatever song was the hit at that time.
Now what if you were to apply that same level of passion when your wrote or spoke about your product. What if when you made your video promotions you used that same level and intensity. Elvis was far from the best singer of his era. However he was one of the most passionate singers. He had the ability to move people emotionally. So much so people would run out to buy his records, just to be able to experience that emotional feeling over and over again.

Stop listening to everyone else and start doing your own thing. Personally if I see one more person, creating a video talking like they are reading from a cue-card I am going to shoot myself (or maybe them who knows.) I personally guarantee you, if you sincerely add passion to your business as well as other aspects of your life, you will accomplish success well beyond your wildest dreams.
